I love blogs and I love supporting, and seeing Scottish bloggers. That’s why I thought I’d give a shout out to some of my favourites! I should probably title this post Scottish Bloggers Part One as there as too many to mention!
When I started blogging in 2014, I never thought I would meet so many amazing and creative people. I even call some of them friends. It’s always great to catch up with like minded folks who share your worries, woes and excitement for all things blog related. Chats about which social media platform is best, which camera takes the best pictures and which software to use to edit said pictures, are often popular topics of conversation over coffee or lunch. That conversation normally takes place after we have photographed our food and drinks, using props where necessary! Typical bloggers!
So, on with the show. Here’s just a few of my favourite Scottish bloggers and why I like to follow their musings.
I first came across Tatyana under her previous blog name ‘Secret Little Stars’. I was utterly smitten by her gorgeous Instagram page and her ability to put together flawless and über stylish outfits. Her fashion and style posts make for easy reading and her photographs are so inspiring. I am in love with the recent rebrand to LΛFOTKΛ and I am looking forward to seeing what new additions and styles Tatyana will bring in 2016. A gorgeous lady that I am happy to call a friend.
The first time I met Lorraine, we clicked. Another fashionable lady with an admirable Instagram feed and a knack for writing great posts. I love Lorraine’s style and she has such a loveable personality. Of course I can’t continue without mentioning her gorgeous candles. Not only is Lorraine a fashionista, she also hand makes beautiful, adorable candles and diffusers from her home. It was through Lorraine’s talent that we met and since then, we have regular coffee dates and blog chats. Head over to Daisy Blue and immerse yourself in Lorraine’s style tips and fashion must haves. Oh, and don’t forget to pop past the shop before you click off!
I started reading Laura’s blog long before I started my own and took great inspiration from A Life With Frills. Laura writes honestly and openly about everything. Something that I am very passionate about. Not only that but she has a great sense of humour and is just such a lovely lady! Laura is my partner in crime when it comes to Twitter rants, and I hope I can spend more time with her in 2016. If you love a mix of all things fashion, beauty, lifestyle and travel; give Laura’s blog a visit. You won’t be disappointed.
My girl Numba! Style guru, colour expert and all round gorgeous lady! Every time I meet with Numba, I leave with a new found sense of determination and happiness. She has an effect that leaves me feeling good. Numba invited me along to her home studio for a colour consultation, which you can read about here. I left having learnt lots of new things and with a new friend. After a fun filled day of fashion and blog chat as well as a failed fight with a mannequin, I have kept in touch with this amazing woman. Her blog is a must for style advice and pictures of Numba looking stunning as always. A must read for anyone interested in fashion.
I am part of a few blogger groups on Facebook and love discovering new blogs. That’s where I came across Naomi’s blog. I visited to read her latest post and ended up going through the archives, spending ages literally laughing out loud and nodding in agreement. Meet Scotland’s answer to SATC’s Carrie. Naomi’s honest. and often hilarious, recounts of her dating and sexual experiences are easy to relate to, but are also filled with some pretty good advice. A great read for all the girls, and boys, single or not. Just make sure you set plenty of time aside, you’ll be hooked.
